Steve Danley is the President and CEO of SD Consulting Inc.

 

SD Consulting specializes in organizational assessment/rehabilitation, human resources management, and performance auditing. Over the years, Danley  has gained multiple occupational passports, allowing him to bring wisdom, understanding, and practicality to bear on his engagements.  Danley takes pride in being a practical consultant dedicated to developing well run business, governmental, and social institutions that promote human flourishing. He brings reality-based analyses and solutions that efficiently and effectively address dysfunctional areas, promoting coherence, mission-centric achievements, and bottom line results.

 

For over 30 years, Steve Danley worked for the sixth largest populated county in the United States (Orange County, CA) in multiple assignments: Chief Human Resources Officer, Performance Audit Director, Chief of Organizational Assessment/Development, and Landfill Site Manager.

 

Steve has also served as a lecturer at the University of California at Irvine (UCI) in the Business department. He is the (co)author of two books:  Management Diseases and Disorders: How to Identify and Treat Dysfunctional Managerial Behavior, and Intellectual Helplessness in America: Thinking Clearly and Acting Rationally.   He holds a master’s degree in Business & Public Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCI.  An advocate of team-building and sports, he also has served as a NCAA and high school basketball referee for thirty years.
